Green Team: Wednesday Volunteer Days
(seasonal, April-October)

6:30-7:30pm
Become a park steward today by volunteering for our Green Team! This is one the most important, and fun, activities you can do at the park where you work with neighbors to water and (sometimes) weed areas of the park during the growing season. Bring a drink and hang out while you help sustain our beautiful space!
Quarterly Friends of Carpenter Green Park Meeting

All are welcome to our meetings! Whether you are interested in getting involved consistently, or just finding out more about what we do to maintain the park, we would love to have you and are always seeking passionate like-minded individuals. And you don't have to have a green thumb - perhaps you have a skill like social media, finance or event planning that you could help with!
​We meet at the park. In the event of rain, please use the Google meet link on the calendar event for this meeting. In the event of rain, the calendar will be updated by 6pm that evening to indicate that we are meeting virtually.
Movie In The Park

This is a free family-friendly event. $1 popsicles for sale at the event. Visit our neighbors at L'anima for flatbread deals to bring to the park for dinner outside. BYO blanket/chairs.

Kids Reading Corner

Bring the kiddos to a Reading Corner in the park with a librarian from the Free Library of Philadelphia. BYO blanket/chairs and get ready for fall storytime!

Have any kids books you are done with? You can bring those to donate to our Little Free Library!​
Love Your Parks (fall)

This is a free city-wide volunteer week where thousands of residents come out to help care for the parks in Philadelphia. Held twice a year in the spring and the fall, this volunteer effort is vital for the survival and maintenance of the parks.
Join us at Carpenter Green Park for this year's fall event!
